With Duty First Checking there is no minimum balance requirement or monthly maintenance fee. Add a WesBanco Debit Card and you will enjoy ATM access and the privilege of using a debit card and paying no WesBanco foreign ATM service charges2 when traveling at home or abroad. An initial deposit of $50 is required to open this non-interest bearing account.

Choose from a full suite of free electronic services for even more banking convenience. All WesBanco Consumer Checking customers have access to our online, mobile and in-branch services, including the option of paper statements or eStatements, online bill pay and fund transfers, ATM access, mobile banking3 and mobile deposit, overdraft protection options and more. You must be an Online Banking customer to sign up for eStatements.

Consider pairing this checking account with a Companion Savings account and enjoy a savings option with no minimum balance requirement or monthly maintenance fee when you combine your statements. Use this account to automatically transfer available funds to your checking account to cover overdrafts. An initial deposit of $50 is required to open a Companion Savings account and the account ownership must be identical to your checking account.
